issues.ng works best when reports are specific, useful and focused on community conditions rather than personal attacks.
A strong report
Be specific
Explain what is wrong, where it is happening and how it affects the community.
Be factual
Separate what you observed from what you assume. Do not present rumours as facts.
Add useful evidence
When evidence uploads are available, use relevant photos that show the issue without unnecessarily exposing people.
Protect privacy
Do not post phone numbers, private documents, sensitive personal information or identifying information that is unnecessary to document the problem.
Not allowed
Harassment or threats; ethnic, religious or other identity-based attacks; spam; deliberately false information; doxxing or unnecessary private information; personal disputes; and unsupported accusations against private individuals.
Remember
A report being published does not mean issues.ng has independently verified it. Community reports should be treated as reports until supporting evidence and confirmation establish more context.
